I apologize for the lack of posting around these parts these days. I have been busy with two back to back weekend trips, and juggling life in between them has been really overwhelming.
I wanted to come on and share some of the bags that I have been using a ton — whether they may be while I was traveling, going to work, or running errands. These bags have been my go-tos so far this spring, and I can’t wait to share them with you.
So without further ado, here are the bags that I have been constantly reaching for:
Louis Vuitton Felicie Pochette: I got this bag a while ago, and I’ve used it on and off throughout the years. However, I did bring this to a weekend trip where I needed to pack light, and it was the best thing. This was the first time that I opted to use all of the inserts. If you don’t know, the Felicie comes with three pieces — the bag with the chain strap, the card case slots, and a little pouch. I am so glad that I used it that way. I took the strap off and pretended that it was a wallet while in the airport and then used it crossbody for the remainder of the time. If you are traveling anywhere, I highly recommend this one. I took it everywhere, and it just worked for packing light.
Portland Leather Goods Koala Sling: The Koala sling bag is such a good one to have in your collection! I have been loving this one because it’s great during the moments that you need to be hands free. I took this one with me on a bachelorette trip, to run errands, and to go various places. The quality of the bag, just like all other Portland Leather Goods bags, was top notch, and the overwhelming scent of the leather was absolutely devine. The exact bag that I have is the Black in the large, and it goes with everything. It fits my Kindle. It fits my keys and all other things — with room to spare. I can see this bag being used heavily in the summer months for day trips and for moments when I’m on the go.
Portland Leather Goods Mini Crossbody: This is the most popular bag from Portland Leather Goods. It comes in every color that you could imagine, but I have mine in cold brew, black, and nutmeg. This is classic for a reason. It just goes with everything. And it’s comfortable to wear. I love this is a good old slouchy leather, because it just makes the bag that much more cozy. I can’t wait to continually wear mine in and give it much more character. I’ve used it as a daily carry, a bag for a trip to throw things in, and just a weekend bag when I’m carrying a lot more than normal.
Louis Vuitton Pochette Métis: This bag has been my favorite for the past five years. I got it way before the insane price increases. At the time, I thought I was insane for having this bag. Now, I am in love with this bag and always have moments of joy when I reach for it. I’ve used it in so many different ways — errands, to work, and just on the go. What I love about this bag so much that I got the reverse is that the bag is something that is just easy to grab and go. It’s big but not so big that it’s oversized and heavy. And it’s something that just hits right. For five years, I can definitely say that this bag has definitely been a repeat offender in my collection, and something that I’m so happy that I own.
Longchamp Le Pliage Large: This bag has been in my bag collection for about seven years. I have beat this guy to death over the past seven years, but my favorite these days are to carry my laptop to work. I love so many things about this bag — so much so that I ended up giving it as a gift to my mother in law. It’s lightweight, carries everything, and is an all and all a perfect tote bag.
