Every fall for the past couple years, I’ve found my way at Lyman Orchards. It is about a 30 minutes drive from my home, and it is so worth it.
The reason why this is both a eating and a shopping post is because I feel like this crosses both boxes. You can pick apples, get pumpkins, and play golf.

However, their farm store is phenomenal. Why? I’ll give you two words: apple cider donuts. They are some of the best donuts that I’ve ever had, whether you go with the classic option or the cinnamon sugar donut. And, usually they have them freshly made and warm.

In addition to donuts, they also have pies, cider already picked apples, and a bakery that has everything you can imagine — including non-pumpkin or apple related things such as cupcakes, brownies and cookies. They also have some ready made sandwiches and apple cider slushees as well.
That said, you can also pick up anything fall themed here and it will be fresh and delicious.

In addition to food, you can also purchase pumpkins as well. We didn’t have a chance to go, but it’s available.
I went there this past weekend, and picked up some fall goodies with one of my good friends. What is really cool about Lyman is that there is space for you to enjoy your food with a gorgeous view.

Fall looks a little different this year, and Lyman Orchards is taking the necessary steps for soctal distancing. The store only lets 50 percent of its capacity, so expect some lines. That said, I think this is a great place to go to for a sense of normalcy. Living in New England, apples are a huge part of the fall season. Whether you are looking for a fun way to meet up with a friend, a date night or a family outing, i think this is a great way to spend the time. And, if you do choose to go, pick up the apple cider donut holes.
OMG, apple cider donuts are the best! They surpass store bought donuts by leaps and bounds. All these pictures are so autumnal, I love it!
