Summer is here and it’s sandal season. One trend that I’ve been seeing a lot on social media and around are raffia sandals. Raffia for summer? Yup, groundbreaking. I know. However, I think that this is a trend that can head towards a closet staple category.
I was recently gifted these gorgeous pair of raffia slides from Cushionare. Cushionare is a great brand of shoes, and I was excited to try them out. These shoes are absolutely gorgeous and I can tell that they will be on repeat because they are so perfect for summer. The details, the beading, and the cushion under? Chef’s kiss! I’m truly obsessed.
I wore mine for the first time with a simple pair of denim shorts and a basic olive tank top. On their first outing, I beat them up by walking around the mall and grocery store. They were still comfortable. They withstood the walking, making me think that these will be the perfect shoe to bring on day trips or vacations.
I also couldn’t help but thinking that a raffia shoe will be the perfect match to a sundress. I’m the queen of sundresses, so these shoes will fit right in with them.
I can’t wait to wear these shoes all summer long.
