My Lavender and Sunflower Themed Bridal Shower

This past weekend was my bridal shower, and it was everything and more that I dreamed of. It was put together by my future mother in law, bridesmaids, and stepmother. I am so blown away by the amount of love that I received, and I know that my future husband and I are extremely lucky to have so many wonderful people in our lives to support us as we embark on this journey.

I wanted to take a moment to share some of the details of my outfit, as well as many of the small details that we had as part of my special day, because we do not gate keep on the Nutmeg Millennial.

The delicious cupcakes and cookies were from Milford’s Good Morning Cupcake, the sign was made by myself at Words on Wood in Wallingford, and the balloons were from Beach Party Balloons.

The decor was also me to a t as well. Sunflowers were my favorite flowers, and they were the main theme. Furthermore, my bridesmaids made sure that they incorporated pictures of my fiance and I over the years, as well as my love for reading. It was a very Natalie shower, and I am so blessed for all the love and work that went into it.
