Friday Faves: September 2, 2022

Okay, so I still can’t believe that I am titling a Friday Faves post with the word September in it. 2022 just flew by, everyone. That said, I am excited that for the upcoming three-day weekend, and a chance to watch some television shows. But first, let’s share some of my favorites from the week!

Julia: Thanks to my mother in law to be, I became obsessed with this show. It tells the story of Julia Child as she starts her TV. I am on episode four and I am obsessed with the show. Yes, this is yet another show that I probably shouldn’t start as I’m watching so many at once but that’s okay.

If and Only If: Experience College In Her Running Shoes by C. S. McKinney: This was a solid five star read and I’m not going to say much as a review is to come on this amazing novel.

Amazon Flats: These are the most comfortable and most affordable flats I’ve ever owned. In fact, I actually have four pairs because these are just so good. I recommend them to anyone who is looking out for a basic on a budget. And, the quality has been holding up to date.

The Bookish Life of Nina Hill by Abbi Waxman: This has been on my TBR for the last three years and probably on my mashed potato reading list for the last couple of years. I finally got to it this week and I am so obsessed with the book. And I want to read more of Abbi Waxman’s backlog. The novel is about Nina Hill, a 29 year old introvert who would rather read books at home alone than interact with people. Nina soon learns that she has a dad, well a dad that tried to get to know her, and a family who is curious to know her. It was a great warm and fuzzy romance and I highly recommend reading this one.

Alex and Ani Pull Chain Bracelets: I was in the market for dainty pieces for fall and stumbled across these bracelets on Amazon. And, I’m obsessed. I’ve added a few bracelets to my stacks, including the moon, evil eye, path of life and the elephant. I can already see them being a part of my fall and winter stacks.
