Crocheting has been the highlight of my year. I’ve grown as a crochet arrest in the past year, and finally have gotten over my fear of amigrumi. As I end another year and start another, I want to share some of the things I hope to get to this year.
Crochet Through My Stash:
I have a lot of yarn that is in my yarn stash. The first thing that I want to do is try to get through as much of it as humanly possible without having to buy more. Will I succeed? Maybe. I am sure that I will be buying yarn at some point throughout the year. However, I want to have less yarn than I started the year with.
Taylor Swift Red Scarf:
I got the Unofficial Taylor Swift Crochet Book, and I got it mainly with the hopes of crocheting the red scarf. I got the yarn during Black Friday and once the holidays are over, I will work on this.
Knitting has been something that I have explored throughout 2024. I have been watching PassionKnit Kelsie do so many knit beanies during her Vlogmas, and I was inspired to do my own.
Last but not least, I really want to crochet these bags. This was another PassionKnit Kelsie Inspired pattern, and I really like how this came out. I have never done color changes quite like this, so I’m sure that this will help me grow in my crocheting journey.
